Lexi was nominated for the royalty court for the winter formal Sweet Hearts Ball. As part of the spirit week for the girls there was a cake making contest. She made an amazing 7 layer cake for the auction. The bottom layer was all chocolate, the middle three layers was a white cake with raspberry filling and the top two layers was a lemon cake with lemon curd filling and a lemon frosting. The fondant on the outside was home made with marshmallows and powdered sugar.

Her cake really was the most beautiful and tasted amazing and I'm not just saying that as the proud mom. She made cupcakes for the judges and I may have eaten quite a few myself.
