Spring Break Vacation, April 2008

For Spring Break this year we decided to go to Mesquite in Southern NV for a break from the cold weather and snow. We spent most of our time at one of the four swimming pools at the Oasis Resort. It seemed we had the place to ourselves no matter where we went. The palm trees waving in the warm breeze made it feel almost tropical.

Our tennis games were always fun but never too serious.
I only kept score when I was winning. The girls were just
happy to get the ball over the net. They were very funny.
Each night we had the courts to ourselves. Soooo fun.

We all had an absolute BLAST on the go carts!

We had to do go carts two days it was so much fun.

A fun vacation always goes by quickly. It was nice

to enjoy a bit of summer early. 90 degree's by the

pool is the way to go! It cooled off and got windy

just in time to come back to reality of mountain life.

We were able to build a wonderful family memory.

Easter 2008

Poor Curtis is in bed sick. Hopefully next year he can
wake up at dawn to play Easter Bunny!

On January 10, 2008 I flew to San Diego to visit my closest friends from High School. It was a wonderful girls weekend out. I felt very much at home in California and hope to make it back to stay someday. Thanks for the great time girls! Can't wait for next year!

Curtis and I went to Hawaii in February of 2007. Heaven to me is spending every minute of every day on the beach. Someday, maybe.............that dream will come true.

A very enjoyable afternoon at the fair.

That afternoon and evening, while at the Nevada County Fair in my home town of Grass Valley, California I ran into old friends I hadn't seen in years. My sister and I enjoyed the evening paying gobs of money so our kids could ride on carnival rides until they kicked us out! We had a blast!
